Happy New Year...

Better late than never. Below are full details and costs of tour to Lille. This is the only one that comes in at the budget of £200-225 that we discussed. I think this price has limited us somewhat and also removed the option of flying. The same tour company mention on their letter to me that they could offer Ireland via coach for just over £200 pp so might be worth considering that also.. but will be a long coach journey

As previously mentioned I think as another option I could prob arrange a tour to Isle Of White for around £100 pp (ish)

Lille

Located 1.5 hrs from Calais Lille is a vibrant city with an eclectic mix of culture and history.... Your accomodation will be a 2 * hotel within walking distance from the city centre.

Day 1 - Coach collects from Roch and transfers to Calais for mid morning crossing. From Calais to Lille approx 90 mins. Remainder of day / evening will be free

Day 2 - After breakfast the morning is free. 14.30 hrs GAME, followed by post match festivities and then return to Lille to continue celebrations

Day 3 - After breakfast the morning is free. 14.30 hrs GAME, followed by post match festivities and then return to Lille to continue celebrations

Day 4 - Breakfast and morning at your leisure to do final bits of sight seeing.... Coach collects us from hotel and arrives at Calais for mid afternoon crossing, and finally return to Roch late afternoon

min 20 people - £ 219 pp
min 25 people - £ 199 pp
min 30 people - £ 189 pp

I think we have 3 options :-

1) Lille as per above

2) Dublin by coach (quite long journey) prob another £25 pp ontop of Lille

3) Holroyd tours to Isle of White, similar itinary to the above, leave early Friday in mini buses, all day/evening Friday at your leisure, Sat - Breakfast and rest of morning free, 14.30 hrs GAME, post match festivities followed by evening celebrations. Sunday - Breakfast and morning free, mini bus home early afternoon - around £100 pp

Whatever we decide David will need all deposits by end Jan closely followed by the balance.

I have assumed we are looking to go early May ?

i will be going. i suggest finding out the place that has most prostitutes and going there Very Happy

I would also like to attend. Any of the three destinations sound good to me, irish birds have fit accents and love boozing but I am also a little partial to a frogs leg. Isle of wight my nan says is nice as well, so I really have no preference.
Just think the main aim is to get the deposits in so we can defo go.
