As our big eared veteran is harping on about being in his 20th season I started to wonder who the longest playing members of the OW's are.

As Whitey has pointed out he is about to enter his 20th season. Pippa must be in about his 50th.

AJ Brassell must have got close to the 20 year mark. Although TimmyH looks about 10 years older than me, both him and I must be on about 17 or 18 seasons now.

Lets see how many players we can list that put in 10 years plus playing service to the club. I think there are quite a few.

10 year servants (apart from those mentioned) would definitely include myself, CID, Spadge, Roddy, Paddy, Tim Holland and Brug. There are several others I can think of who may or may not have made it into double figures: Mark Roper Dickie Downard, Jock Hoskin, Bryan Parris and Skippy spring to mind. What about the rest of the Holland Clan (Les, Paul and Stuart). Maybe even Poofy Pettman (best captain we ever had!)

Just a few names to get the ball rolling.

Stano.

As Stano thought I can confirm making double figures for the Willies.

12 seasons
7 tours (Jersey x2, IOM x2, Den Haag, Ilfracombe and 1 I can't remember)
3 sendings off
2 seasons as 1st XV captain

Hope to see many of you on Jan 13th
